| 21 years ago I decided that it was time I stopped dreaming and started trying to make my dreams a reality. I also desired that bright cricketing talent should not be handicapped due to lack of proper training-something that many people of my time faced. I wanted to provide the best of facilities to nature cricketing talent and to equip them to face the challenges of modern day professional cricket.
Many friends and well-wishers tried to dissuade me form even attempting to achieve such a big dream. But the words of Walt Disney “If you can dream it, you can do it” gave me the courage to work toward materialization my dreams.
RCC would not have been what it is today without the guidance, support and encouragement of many cricket lovers. We are extremely privileged to have among our well-wishers. Sri. Ranga Reddy, Former Vice-President BCCI, Former Manager of the Indian team, and the former Secretary of the Hyderabad Cricket Association who is also our patron.
We are grateful to Sri A. Sathyanarayana former President of the JHES for establishing the JHPS Cricket section and for permitting the RCC to function from JHPS.
Sri. A.Murali Mukund, a lover of sports, chairman & Secretary & of JHPS and JHES has continually given the RCC all the support that is needed.
Sri Harishchandra Prasad, Managing Committee Member of JHPS and JHPS extended his full support to our club in developing cricket at all levels.
Sri B.N. Murthy, Treasurer of JHPS and JHES extended his full support to our club in developing cricket at all levels.
Our special thanks to are due to Smt. Anjali Razdan, Principal of JHPS whose encouragement and support during these years has helped in achieving our targets.
Smt. Rama Devi, Principal BVBPS has always been a source of encouragement to our trainees and us.
The RCC has set up a Sub Junior/ Junior/ Semi-Senior/ Senior category Academy for talented young cricketers aged 4yrs and above.
The senior RCC program has been a huge success and many players have graduated into First Class County age group teams and Academies.
We wish to start a shortened version of our Senior Program (6 days) for up to 16 boys.
Boys who are interested in joining must be part of the school team along with a genuine interest to develop their cricketing skills, while aiming to become professional cricketers.
The program proposed will be very intensive and specific, and will be conducted by RCC coaches
We intend to use multiple bowling machines on a regular basis and through intensive shot grooving develop the players’ techniques. The trainees will be tested regularly to measure the effectiveness of the technique. . Players will be introduced to various stimulated game situations where they will understand different game plan options and its implementation. Video recordings will be used to analyze the trainee performance.
